No Fellaini & Moyes

Look what happens! Good result for Giggsy’s first game in charge not an amazing performance especially 1st half before the pen! But looked stronger second half! Just seemed to have a bit more about them today! Could it be they wanted “Moyes Out!” ??? Either way who ever comes in has their work cut out for them to bring players in to a team that have no European championship to battle for. Will be interesting to see.

Manchester United Problems

Right I want to start off by saying that tonight was a turn up for the books for United! Not often have we been able to witness United as “The Underdog”. To play one of the best teams in recent history and come out with a draw, well done to them! Bayern Munich have been outstanding the past few years! But to go to the Allianz arena and hope for something similar will be very tricky, not impossible, but a very tall order.

One thing that hit me in the game, and previous games, was Marouane Fellaini. He was a key player last year in David Moyes team but this year he has caused problems for his team and the manager who brought him in to one of the most important sports franchises. His lack of desire to chase back has caused a number of goals for opposing teams and yet he still gets picked if that wasn’t enough to leave him on the bench he just doesn’t work in a team like united. Last year we saw him scoring countless goals in the air which is why he was such a key player for Everton, but this year with the “stars” in the team he’s had to take a smaller roll, And now looks lost. Fellaini can be a great player but not for united. He lacks the desire that is needed to fit into such a squad.
